Herpes Outbreak After Catheter

week in my ears (20 to 26 September)

More disks and easier for a new week, give them a read and a listen:

A Public Announcement disservice Methods of Mayhem (2010) .- difficult to describe the sound of this album project by Tommy Lee, drummer of Mötley Crüe, featuring a hodgepodge of styles ranging from hard rock, to pop, dance, hip hop and electronica. Unlike the self-titled album in 1999 following a rap metal line, the second material, leans more towards the sound of their albums to Tommy Lee (Never a Dull Moment 2002 and Tommyland: The Ride , 2005 ), while incorporating many beats and dance tunes, electronic, insurance after his experiences as a DJ. Diverse, eclectic and above all fun, it's an album worth being heard (with my head open).

Let It Sway of SOMEONE STILL LOVES YOU BORIS YELTSIN (2010) .- With a sound less pretentious than its name - which refers to the first Russian president - comes This American quartet's third album that experience, was produced by Chris Walla of Death Cab For Cutie. Retro tunes, little touches Beachboy-esque pop and stylish wrapped in nostalgia are part of this record that grows with every listen (I can not help comparing the voices to those of the album by The Brothers Movement said weeks ago).

Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time SANTANA (2010) .- Following the custom of inviting singers, but in this case doing covers of old rock anthems, guitar legend called musicians like Joe Cocker, Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, Scott Weiland Stone Temple Pilots, Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty, Gavin Rossdale of Bush, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, Pat Monahan of Train and Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach and others for versioning issues such as "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" by the Beatles, "Can you hear me knocking" by the Rolling Stones, "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin, "Back In Black "by AC / DC," Smoke on the Water "by Deep Purple," Riders on the storm "by the Doors and" Little Wing "by Jimi Hendrix among the 12 songs that make up the regular edition of this Guitar Heaven . The newest item "Photograph" by Def Leppard (1983) and drew attention for being one of the least "popular" in the collection. Carlos Santana gives it his style to each and every one of the topics not only with his trademark guitar sound, but also the percussive Latin saborcito brought from their origins. A disc well worth listening to.

Dark Is the Way, Light Is a Place of Anberlin (2010) .- Since I heard and I fell in love with the infectious "Impossible", I knew this was an album to listen and after a few laps, I can assure you that this is the best song on the new album from the Christian group. Sonic surprises, and there are not many songs seem to be halfway to a Jimmy Eat World and Switchfoot, with doses of punk and post grunge post with some elements interspersed noventeros with more contemporary sounds. The help of producer Brendan O'Brien, Dark is the way, light is a place is the most polished album the quintet of Florida and if it does not change the world, at least it will make a more enjoyable ... ;

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) VARIOUS ARTISTS of (2010) . - As part of a film that broke box office - I did not see nor do I see - this soundtrack comes as a delight for fans of indie and alternative rock, music by Muse, Metric, Black Keys, Band of Horses, The Dead Weather, Beck, The Bravery, Florence and the Machine and Vampire Weekend among others. Of course it is a more serious than the film itself and I think it is one of the best soundtracks of recent times. The recommendation is to spare ...

Those were the albums and these are the singles:

"Born free" KID ROCK .- with a very southern and Seger-esque, this issue return the solo sounds really good. Five minutes and some seconds in length of a song that could well seen as a patriotic salute gringo, while providing a lyrical applicable to any born in a free country (most are, no?). As the topic that names the album coming out Nov. 16, is perhaps one of the numbers sound more mature in its 20-year career. Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bikpBqt7Tdw

"Fuck you" CEE LO GREEN .- Known as the voice behind such memorable "Crazy" Gnarls Barkley (2006), Cee Lo Green - or just Cee Lo, whose original name is Thomas Callaway - is a rapper and singer with a tone color rather and in this particular case with very unique item. Funk, r & b and neo soul are styles by traveling this infectious song that serves as advance for her third solo album. Spending, danceable, singable ... "Fuck you!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAV0XrbEwNc&has_verified=1

"Dog Days Are Over" from FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE .- Sincere, intense, direct and original, it sounds like Britain's Florence Welch in this area of \u200b\u200byour hard Lungs. "Dog Days Are Over" for almost two years on the market and after having swept Europe is finally getting the publicity it deserves in North America. Pop, folk, rock and even some live blues in this song that brings one of the best female voices of today. Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ny4deVFsYuo

Average Cost For Orderve Catering

week in my ears (13 to 19 September)

Three records of great acts, along with a sweet pair of lesser-known musical part of this album streamed Week:

CRASH Crash Kings Kings (2009) .- Although rock is not the instrument par excellence what a great touch that gives this piano trio's debut album Crash Kings, derailing the argument that "there is no rock guitars (yes, you will not hear a single guitar on this album). At times, à la Ben Folds Five - but more rock - features the singer playing the keys and showing a particular tone that stands out above all heard in recent times. Intense, melodic, retro yet modern, this self-titled debut presents Angelenos memorable themes and is one of the most interesting albums I encountered there. Hopefully by the time you finish reading the full post, you're downloading this disquito!

first Head of Goldfrapp (2010) .- When you hear a record like this, there is no way to say "I do not like pop," because this English duo's fifth album does nothing but present a real sweet to the ears, very well crafted catchy melodies, nice lyrics and a voice, courtesy of Alison Goldfrapp, who already like to have the Britneys, Mileys, Selena and Demis. With a fresh sound, yet retro, that could have been conceived in the 80s, has a very optimistic wave Head First this could be the definition the word "cool." Recontra recommended!

A Thousand Suns LINKIN PARK (2010) .- The fourth album from the sextet of Agoura Hills, is the most eclectic - and risky - they have done in his career and features the band playing with electronic sounds, much rap and even reggae time around (there is even a closing acoustic ballad disc), while leaving aside some electric guitars and focuses to create extremely contagious melodies and choruses seem destined to be sung en masse - perhaps with lighter in between - on stage and 'venues' such. There's nothing like a "Crawling", a "Somewhere I Belong", a "What I've done" or "New divide", but there is the clear intention of a group - considered the most important of the decade 2000 -2009 - moving musical boundaries and offer something more than just a label with the label of "rock." In A Thousand Suns, lead singer Chester Bennington has revealed that one of the best voices in rock today.

Flamingo BRANDON FLOWERS (2010) .- Flowers and The Killers? I think ultimately there's not much difference and the frontman of the band in Las Vegas, presents a set with lots of flavor and takes the left by Day & Age to their original group (remember some details Sam's Town). In this, his solo debut, the singer, 29, covers familiar territory and does not venture into new paths, making the listener does not present anything new, but still be an enjoyable and - at least for now - siva to patiently await the return of the full band. Perhaps having had three different producers - Brendan O'Brien, Stuart Price and Daniel Lanois - prevented the greater personalidady disc has finished delivering a series of songs that are far from hymns like "Mr. Brightside", "For Reasons Unknown "and" Spaceman. "

Audiosecrecy STONE SOUR (2010) .- The album was billed as the heaviest and softest the side project of Corey Taylor and effectively so. On one side are the songs that seem drawn from a Slipknot album and on the other - and in large quantities - are the power ballads that could have been part of a band of disc hard rock (even with some moments eighties and early 90s). 14 tracks in the regular edition and 17 in the digipack, make this an album generous yet somewhat repetitive and tiresome. I hope your opinion ...

and recommended three songs - two of them among the best of the year, so far:

"Cinnamon" by Stone Temple Pilots .- One of those songs that instantly draw attention , for its freshness and infectious melody. With some wave and a sharp style sixties pop - is not the first time venturing into that territory STP - is my favorite theme of the quartet titled album and makes clear that the band plays for more. Must listen! Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26KeiqxUnfw

"Radioactive" KINGS OF LEON .- The issue that brings them back is pure feeling and the hundreds of thousands of followers of the quartet, we could not be less than happy with it. At first, I did not fail to compare, in a kind of competition, with "Sex on fire" - and stay with the aforementioned anthem of 2008 - but this "Radioactive" lives in his own right, with big guitars, heartfelt vocals and a few choruses gospel that I love doing more and more of the subject. Note on your calendar: October 19, launching Come Around Sundown. Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgdK3WVUEgg

"Do her wrong" ATOM SMASH .- I heard the track and I said what?!?! This is "Pour Some Sugar on Me" by Def Leppard, a similar beginning, a voice à la Joe Elliot and even cuts of the first half that do nothing but think of a shameless copy of the theme of 1987. With the second and the amount of sounds, of course it is obvious that this is not the subject of English, but impossible to avoid comparing and perhaps an occasional change, we would have done greater justice to this band's debut single in Miami. The issue is not bad, judge yourself ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRATqR7qHDo

Double Blade Adult Skates

Did you know ... the airplane was invented the beginning of the twentieth century?

Twentieth Century Inventions

Throughout the twentieth century there were several inventions and discoveries, among which we highlight the following:

Airplane. The Wright brothers carefully studied what was known aeronautics so far, reaching their own conclusions. They began their experiments with gliders in 1900, but the December 17, 1903 when they finish building its first aircraft engine with four-cylinder petrol and 12 horses. Piloted by Orville and moving on a railway track was raised three feet and ran head after about 30 meters in 12 seconds, after falling to the ground, depending on the version of the interested parties and their eyewitnesses. In 1905, Wright traveled a little over 40 miles, flying for 30 minutes without touching the ground. Later, scientists such as Henri Farman, improved the brainchild of brothers Wright.

Other inventions:

Penicillin. is an antibiotic that revolutionized modern medicine. The use of this substance can treat various diseases, well into the twentieth century, is considered incurable. Admittedly, the fact that it is possible to use penicillin in the present is not due solely to Alexander Fleming, but was the result of efforts by various researchers. The British bacteriologist, discovered the antibiotic in 1928, studying a bacterial culture that had a state lysis due to accidental contamination with a fungus. In fact, initiated the era of penicillin antibiotics, substances that have increased the life expectancy rates in virtually all the world. In fact, the model of preparation of antibiotics derived from penicillin.

structure of DNA. In the fifties, the field of biology was convulsed by the development of the model of the structure of DNA. James Watson and Francis Crick in 1953 showed that consists of a double helix formed by two chains.
DNA is a nucleic acid consisting of nucleotides. Each nucleotide consists of three components: a sugar: deoxyribose in this case (in the case of RNA, or ribonucleic acid, a sugar that is a ribose), a phosphate and a nitrogenous base.

If only the sugar molecule is attached to the nitrogenous base is then called a nucleoside.
nitrogenous bases that are part of DNA are: adenine (A), guanine (G), cytosine (C) and thymine (T). These form hydrogen bonds between them, respecting strict complementarity: A only pairs with T (and vice versa) through two hydrogen bonds, and G only with C (and vice versa) by 3 hydrogen bonds.

Groping In Bus Vedioes

week in my ears (31 August to 5 September)

A new week listening to albums and songs and than put a few words, I decided to increase the album art, but boring to the thing (if you think of other ideas are welcome) and if anything, the links in the singles, are simply so you can hear the song (I'm not very videos).

To begin with, some records ...

The hazards of love The Decemberists (2009) .- With a narrative common throughout the disk, in a sort of rock opera, with haunting melodies, voices and sounds different folk, art, baroque, progressive and indie The fifth album from the Decemberists, has been consistently designed from start to finish, the brainchild of singer Colin Meloy and with guests such as singer Becky Stark of Lavender Diamond and vocalist Jim James of My Morning Jacket. The Hazards of Love to hear at least once, but yes, fluently and without "shuffle" in between ...

Avalanche BRITISH INDIA (2010) .- Australia has become a big exporter of music in recent times and one of those pleasant discoveries is that of the Melbourne quartet that brings a good dose garage and post punk with some saborcito noventero. Great guitars, infectious choruses and a good vocal work are part of an album that brings nothing but talking loudly again, serves to give a flavor with a band that has managed to enjoy success in their country of origin.

Strange is not it of weather! (2010) .- Three exclamation points (!!!) or 'chick, chick, chick' serve as California's nickname of this band that has more than a decade making music. With doses of funk, post punk, electro, disco and retro moments fail to sound like LCD Soundsystem, but I'm sure fans of electronics, you know enjoy this new disc.

The Courteeners Falcon (2010) .- Except one or two songs - and despite criticism that praise the band - this second album from the English is not my cup of tea (borrowed that expression "it's not my cup of tea"). It makes me sound very old fashioned, between eighties and noventero, do not quite decide between being a new wave and Brit pop and falling into repetition and monotía throughout its 50 minutes long. The voice sounds like a cardboard copy of Jarvis Cocker and I think by listening to a contagious and moved "You did it over doll" and the nostalgic "Cameo Brooch" (which reminds me of a topic that I can not identify) had had enough.

Only Revolutions by Biffy Clyro (2009) .- Sounds noventeros à la Foo Fighters, Bad Religion, great guitars, melodies and explosive vocals on stage are part of the band's fifth album under the Scottish form of a power trio delivers a very solid library filled with memorable moments. Being his best-selling album in the UK - and unfortunately without diffusion in North America, despite the European American sound before - it has great songs like "The captain", "Mountains", "Whorses", "God & Satan" and All "Bubbles", upbeat song, strong (but not heavy, eye) and quite contagious Josh has Homme as a guest on guitar.

And finally, some singles ...

"Closer to the edge" 30 SECONDS TO MARS .- I often do, I hear an album and find favorite shot - usually grab me by catchy melodies that ear is accustomed to hearing Beatles and radio hits - and this was the case of the third promotional war This is the third album by the band of Jared Leto. Synthesizers, programmed drums and other electronic sounds are preparing the arrival of a contagious chorus that explodes with a "I'm not saying, I'm sorry "that it may well be a hymn played in the band. With a lot of pop, but with all the rock energy is one of my favorite subjects and my favorite moment in the history of 30 Seconds To Mars. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duYLdevin24

"Congratulations" from MGMT .- It is not wise thing to realize that the sound of MGMT is very different in this new album and the singles have also promoted another wave. The title song to the album, is the latest to receive broadcast - with video and everything - and winking at the music of the sixties is presented as a soft number with acoustic guitars, whispered vocals and a melancholic air. Great! Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_GvVnPsUeg

"Make me want to die" Pretty RECKLESS .- It is very plausible that an actor then rock - yes there are cases of actresses who were able to do its part in other genres - and I must admit that when I learned that Taylor Momsen, the young model and actress of "Gossip Girl" was a rock band and that the theme was No. 1 in rock charts in the UK, I did not give much credit. What good is wrong with these things, as the debut single these New Yorkers is a real rock number, with guitars present entrance, a dark, sexy voice - who travels between gothic, new wave and pop - and a melody that makes this a distinct issue. Momsen, for his age - 17 years - sounds experienced and honest, completely separates the league of celebrities with aspirations of rockstars and has nothing to envy of other popular singers. American radio seems to give a lot of baseball yet, but something England received with open arms, give a listen, it's worth. Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoOd9JDIPB0

Emt B Summer Course Colorado

Krauss Live in Santa Cruz ...

With a trio of their own songs ripped the night - including the single "The Impressionists" - and then do one of several visits to the territory Loukass (with an undeniable past the singer) in the first set I timidly approached the audience in the courtyard of Simple Studies. Songs like "Akasa" and "Summary of La Paz" began to chant for not many know the missing - I think - band La Paz, while the self-titled debut album's songs, tried to be players on a night that it was becoming colder, winds and rain threatened. This initial set would be one of the highest points, one on rockandroll - with winds and all, à la Chuck Berry - that would demonstrate the versatility of the band.

The second set was another story: the pervasive "chimeras" would be to click with people who sang "you only have to fly, to feel, experience a world of illusions ..." and that such a gesture would be rewarded with three songs that became the most danced, chanted and enjoyed the evening, "Maria Luiza" - the first album to reach and composed by bassist Maple - "Do not pray to the sun" and "The Twisted" - perhaps the two most famous songs Loukass in this city - to end with an 'encore' of "Chimera" and present "Waiting", the theme that opens album.

Neither strong wind, low temperature and could against a strong group last night left his name on a good hand to the more than two hundred individuals who enjoy their music.

After watching last night Krauss, I can assure you it is a band that promises much, not only for the experience and background of the three founders - former Christian Loukass Krauss, brain Ra Beat "Rabbit "Arce on bass and guitarist Alex Zapata, who I think deserves to make more name after having been part of several bands in the 90s - but the sound itself not always achieved as quickly and is complemented by the youth of two members invited. There is an attitude, there is commitment, there is fresh air and there is life in this not so generous Bolivian rock scene.

Big Brother Quotes For Picnik

week in my ears (23 to 29 August)

discs I was listening to these days:

False Priest Of Montreal (2010) .- If someone asks how pop music should sound, response is here. This influential American band brings a smart and funny pop, very fresh, sometimes experimental and definitely different (funk, afrobeat, psychedelic, r & b) elements that at times remind MGMT - although I think we must be fair and say that the latter evokes Of Montreal decade and more are making music - Queen (by the voices, but newer than Mika) Hot Hot Heat, Scissor Sisters and some other acts that are not your average pop band aid. Listenable, recommended - perhaps not very palatable to fans of bubblegum pop - and indeed, a very solid and sonically rich.

This is Happening LCD Soundsystem (2010) .- Finding a perfect balance between rock and electronics, is the third album - and Finally, in theory - LCD Soundsystem New Yorkers with a mix of sounds punkeros, danceros, psychedelic, disco, industrial, and even tribal. With all the songs over six minutes long, except the single "Drunk Girls" - is an album not easy to hear, but it becomes a delicious and refreshing experience.

The Pauper Lunatic Asylum West Rider of Kasabian (2009) .- An album full of good sounds and styles quite broad, but not separated from that label 'brit' leading from its origins, recalling around to other British as Kula Shaker. Did not give much ball last year and in recent months, has not stopped ringing in my car, especially for songs like the excellent "Where did all the love go" - with loops, sound and a very infectious beat - the fast Fast fuse, "the pilot" Take Aim "the sixties" Thick as Thieves, "the smooth" Ladies and gentleman, "the great" Fire "- which was one of the initial single disc - and the final" Happiness "- with a wave stonesca / jet. I dare say that this WRPLA is the best thing the British have made to date.

Destroyer of the void of BLIZENTRAPPER (2010) .- A great job melodic choruses everywhere, much folk, some country, brought sounds of the sixties (and even seventies), Beatle-esque episodes and complete experiments are part of this work with each listen it becomes more interesting for everything that can be discovered. Grab it, you will not regret ...

Croweology BLACK CROWES (2010) .- The most rock and roll band rock and roll - as were baptized by the Melody Maker music newspaper - on the set is unplugged and intimate way with a collection farewell of 20 subjects, divided into two discs, reviewed much of his career. As a generous collection of two-hour versions presented in heartfelt, old favorites like "She Talks to Angels", "Jealous Again", "Remedy," "Thorn in my pride," "Wiser Time" and "Soul Singing" , along with other songs are not as widespread in the vast discography of the band of brothers Robinson. While I was very happy with the selection, regrets the lack of major hits like "Twice as hard," "Hard to handle", "Sting Me", "High Head Blues", "Only a fool" and my favorite ever "A conspiracy" (the band's fans would not have bothered with a third disc of material.)

And here some singles:

"Life Will not Wait" by OZZY OSBOURNE .- A number softer than "Let me hear you scream" and with a certain vibe that evokes those great issues No more tears 1991, with acoustic guitars and big choruses, full of violas with distortion. Talk about not waste a minute in your life, musically Ozzy shows a very good shape, while the work of guitarist Gus G has nothing to envy the old guitar players who accompanied the prince of darkness. One of my favorite Scream . Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2T8vit1K8U

"Freak" by Smashing Pumpkins .- As a topic that seems drawn from Mellon Collie and sensational The Infinite Sadness comes this promotional work in progress by kaleidscope Teargarden . The unmistakable voice of Billy Corgan - incidentally, the only original member - is complemented by guitars with distortion, a very precise rhythm section and a "la-la-la" in the chorus, making this an enjoyable song , memorable and that will please all fans of the band regulars. You can download it free on the website of the band www.smashingpumpkins.com

"Ready to start" ARCADE FIRE AND .- Arcade Fire continues the effect ... "Ready to start" was not the subject of The Suburbs that caught my attention at first listen, but has quickly grown into one of my favorites of this great work. It's one of those songs with all the vibe and energy to start dates and sounds like a mix of Bruce Springsteen and the Smiths. Highly recommended. Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S78Puj84cSA

"The will to survive" of PANTERA .- was a great surprise to learn that new material had disappeared Pantera and in this case is a track originally recorded in the recording sessions for Cowboys from Hell that comes pack of the twentieth anniversary of this album released in July 1990. While far is of the best songs of the quartet, it is interesting to hear a theme that could serve as the missing link between heavy metal glam band that was the beginning, and that thrash groove back, the voice and choirs are wave groups of the era like Bang Tango and Dangerous Toys. Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKSEOk1Sjzs
