The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) reported that the November 8 start round of negotiations with Central America to achieve a Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Eduardo Ferreyros said that countries which negotiated the agreement to liberalize trade are Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras and Guatemala.

"These countries can carry many products as there is the advantage of markets that are similar to ours and speaking our language," he said in CPN.
