the memory of the Brazil - France 2006 and how my eyes filled with tears when the green amarela it was defeated by 0 to 1.
Four years and one day have passed since then and history repeats itself, with the candidate taking leave early, leaving thousands sad, including me.
Brazil today - without the likes of Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos and Adriano, 2006 - had a good first half and 10 or 15 minutes of dream that foreshadowed a win. Brazil in those minutes showed a high level, regained missed "Beautiful game" and had an interesting effect with three shots on goal, one goal scored and a goal disallowed. Holland did not do much in the first 45 'and simply stand and wait.
Lucio, Juan, Gilberto Silva, Kaka and Robinho were the lived in Germany and fell into despair was also one for the title. A large South American defensive error, with goalkeeper included, provided the equalizer for the Netherlands and minutes later, A Clockwork Orange was turning the scoreboard. Europeans, more from the mistakes of others than their own virtues, were up and looked like ruffled Brazil both in attack and defense. The equalizer, stayed away and the Dutch had a couple of opportunities to raise three of his conquests.
How sad to leave this phase of Brazil, one always hopes for more of that selection. It was my second team - after Chile - but history and football dream and think this was a new title.
Chau to the South American dream final between Argentina and Brazil. The only good thing that will remain of this is that Dunga will leave his post.
PD: Only I hope that Argentina would not follow in the footsteps of Brazil, as happened - but in reverse - in the World 2006.
