Peru exported 109% more in Brazil during the first half of 2010

This good performance of Peruvian textile apparel sector was mainly due to the expanded agreement with the Southern Common Market, where Brazil released 100% of the items of interest for Peruvian exporters.

Trade Center (CCEX) of the FTC believes that the Peruvian textile manufacturers in Brazil have found a promising market.

That country has 190 million consumers, textiles whose demands are not met by local companies, so they are forced to import, an opportunity that Peru is using.

BRAZILIAN TEXTILE
